01/05/07 MASTERforge issues I.D. numbers for authentication and theft prevention.

Each MASTERforge sword is now recorded and logged onto our database. This stores the current owner, description and I.D. number. This helps to prevent loss, theft and fraud, ensuring that you own a genuine MASTERforge sword. We do not authorise any other retailers to sell MASTERforge swords.

If your sword is stolen or you want to check its authenticity we now issue I.D numbers with each sword purchased. We will help you try to recover your sword by publishing its details on our site and in various forums. You can also check that you are buying a genuine MASTERforge sword by using the I.D. number.

04/02/07 Education Centre open to the public

As we develop and expand our reseach it has grown beyond the limits of the shopping site and was badly in need of its own section. We have created the Education Centre to share our knowledge and continue to grow it as its own resource. We are currently looking for contributors and moderators in the hope to open it up as an active forum in the future.

07/01/07 Jobs at MASTERforge

Different characteristics in a sword are required for different martial arts and we are often asked what the best sword for that art would be. We cannot know the the answer for all martial styles so we are planning to build a database and forum for reference. The forum will provide advice and guidance on choosing your sword. We also want to use this forum for research into swords, forging techniques and other related topics.

We are currently recruiting for writers, researchers, promoters and forum moderators. The positions are in a volunteer capacity and unfortunately unpaid. However, contributers will get large discounts on our products. The work provides a great opportunity to gain new skills and experience.
