Han Jian Swords

The Han Jian inherited its geometry and design from Chang Jian (Long Jian) of Qin Dynasty. Han Jian has sectional width reduction on the blade towards the tip. Remarkable length of the blade and hilt allow the Jian to be effectively wielded by one or two hands, and mainly used for thrust and cut. Our Han Jian is a reproduction of original Han Jian design and fittings. Fittings in particular are made with reference to the Jian belonged to King of NanYue.
